It was…
I guess the sun…
Which shone off me
Refracted back
As do knives;off a pumice
It distracted in sparks
But still it touched by me
Translucence echoed my skin
Vaporized in transparency
Could see my blood throbbing
Frantically away from me
Palming out
Out away from me
The sun still sat inside
Danced in sparks
And emitted out
In cries from me
Warm, golden cries
Only the eagle
Perched atop the lowly cliffs
Could respond
If it wanted to
But the stillness above me
Knew it better
I kept breathing in whispers
Each breath sipping me away from me
The golden light still haloed around me
In sunny warmth, making it temperate
It was setting to rise again
Above the throbbing stillness
But then the blue flashed
And I washed my face with you
And I was all cold
Frozen in blue!
